General conditions

1. Booking, concluding of contract and conditions of payment

You can book with us either by phone, e-mail or mail. Within short notice you will receive a contract for rent from us, then a 30% deposit is due within the next 10 days. The balance is due at least 30 days before your arrival. The contract between us will be concluded with the receipt of the signed contract and the instalment on our account.

If you book less than 30 days in advance the total rent will be due immediately and the contract will be concluded with this payment.

2. Services and prices

Our published prices are weekly prices. Prices include the cost for final cleaning. The minimum stay is normally seven days, with arrival and departure days being Saturday. In the low season you may book for 4 days minimum. Included in the price is the normal use of energy and water.

Not included in the rental price and to be paid on the spot:

Rental of bed linen and towels (15€ per person, if desired)*

3. Arrival and departure, early departure

Check-in time is between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. and check-out is at 10 a.m. Please inform us if you wish to arrive later than 7 p.m. Should you not be able to take over the keys as agreed (e.g. because of a traffic jam, a strike, for personal reasons, etc.) you nevertheless owe the full rent. The same applies if you leave early.

4. Cancellation Policy

In the event that you need to cancel your reservation 30 days before arrival, we will charge you the 30% instalment, unless we can rent out the house or apartment to someone else. If you ,however, withdraw later than 30 days before arrival we will have to charge you the full 100% of the rent, unless we can rent out the house or apartment to someone else. Days are counted from the arrival of your message with the landlord.

5. Security deposit

We ask for a deposit of 200 €. The deposit can be sent or given to us in the form of a cheque or can be paid in cash upon arrival. We can refuse to hand over the keys in case the deposit has not been paid. If there are no damages for which the repair costs have to be charged to you, we will reimburse you with the deposit no later than 10 days after your holidays. If necessary, costs for any additional cleaning will be charged to the deposit.

The cleaning of the kitchen equipment, china and cutlery has to be done by the tenant (and is not included in the price for the final cleaning).

6. Conditions for use

On the property there is a swimming pool which is commonly used. The tenant and especially his or her children use the swimming pool on his or her own risk. This is also the case if the landlord is around.

7. Choice of law and jurisdiction

Any agreement between us will be under French law. The competent court is Avignon.
